We’re kicking off our season in style on September 25 with the Sixth Annual Twin City Lip Sync Battle! Get ready for a high-energy night of music, laughter, and unforgettable performances as local celebrities take the stage with iconic hits from across the decades. Plus, enjoy a special spotlight performance by our incredible Twin City Ballet company dancers—it’s a night you won’t want to miss!

Gala Performance

Step into the magic of Christmas Eve with Twin City Ballet’s enchanting production of The Nutcracker, featuring both Acts I and II of this timeless Tchaikovsky classic.

​

Join us as we travel back to a glittering holiday party where young Clara is gifted a Nutcracker that leads her on a dreamlike adventure. From the twinkling lights of her family’s celebration to the dazzling Land of Sweets and the graceful Sugar Plum Fairy, it’s a story that has captured hearts for generations.

​

This unforgettable holiday experience features stunning performances by our company dancers and guest artists — plus a full day of festivities, including our charming Nutcracker Tea.

School performances of The Nutcracker will be held  at the Monroe Civic Center’s Jack L. Howard Theatre:

Wednesday, December 3rd |  9:00 a.m. • 10:45 a.m

Thursday, December 4th |  9:00 a.m. • 10:45 a.m 

Friday, December 5th  |   12:30 p.m.

The cost to attend the ballet is $7.00 per student. Please note that this does not include transportation.

The Nutcracker Tea in the Land of Sweets

Saturday, December 6, 2025 • 9:30 am - Noon​​

​

Join us for a magical morning at the Jack L. Howard Theatre with The Nutcracker Tea beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by a matinee performance of The Nutcracker at 11:00 a.m.

​

Your ticket includes admission to both the Tea and the performance. Enjoy sweet treats, holiday crafts, festive games, and meet characters from The Nutcracker — a delightful experience your little ones won’t forget.

​

Tickets for The Nutcracker Tea + Matinee are $20 each.
Matinee-only tickets are also available for $15.

​

Start your holiday season with a sprinkle of sugar and a touch of magic.

 

Flowers: A Tribute in Motion

Saturday, April 18th, 6 p.m. •  Monroe Civic Center

Join the Twin City Ballet at the Monroe Civic Center's Jack Howard Theater on Saturday, April 18, for our Spring performance, featuring Act II, Flowers, choreographed by Lisa Hawkins Herold. This special piece is a heartfelt tribute to the enduring legacy of Linda Lavender Ford, honoring her passion for dance and the standard of excellence instilled in generations of performers.

​

Act I of the program will include a variety of works by dancers at all levels of the company, highlighting choreography by Joe Istre, Leaia Alsup, Ashley Kohler Reynolds, and Amelia Littleton.

​

Before the show, join us at the theater from 4:45–6:00 p.m. to enjoy music and food trucks, including La Taco Vida and AJ’s. The performance begins at 6:00 p.m.

​
