Ballet Under The Stars

It’s officially Spring and ballet is in the air! The public is invited to join us for Ballet Under the Stars, North Louisiana’s signature spring arts event. The Twin City Ballet Company’s beautiful dancers dancing in an unbelievable outdoor setting is sure to make for an unforgettable evening for all ages. 

Act I – “Our Earth According to the Lorax”

Long before “going green” was mainstream, Dr. Seuss’ Lorax spoke for the trees and warned of the dangers of disrespecting the environment. The Twin City Ballet is excited to present our timely interpretation of The Lorax and his classic tale as we continue to educate a new generation of boys and girls not only about the importance of seeing the beauty in the world around us but also our responsibility to protect it. 

Act II 

Act II will be a beautiful blend of all things dance can and should be – inspirational, engaging and fun. This Spring’s collection of pieces will showcase choreography from Leaia Alsup, Joe Istre, Dianne Maroney-Grigsby and 

Cherri Barnett. Come to the beautiful Kiroli Park and enjoy an evening of dance. 

6:00 p.m. – Food and Fun for all! 

Food trucks from some of our local vendors will be on site.  

6:00 p.m.  – Twin City Ballet Company Alumni Party

Our TCB alumni are encouraged to join us for a night to celebrate dance,  our beloved Ballet Company and each other. Join us at Kiroli Park’s Shelter 5 for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres before the show. We can’t wait to see all our wonderful alumni!
